Target Audience

This activity is intended for hematologists, medical oncologists, and other healthcare professionals (physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, pharmacists, etc.) who are involved and/or interested in the treatment of patients with lymphoma.


Identified as “Advance of the Year” by the American Society of Clinical Oncology, chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T-cell therapy now offers hope for patients with otherwise incurable B-cell lymphomas. However, oncologists/hematologists and the oncology care team who manage patients with aggressive forms of B-cell lymphomas are ill-prepared to integrate CAR T-cell therapy into clinical practice, identify patients who may benefit from this novel therapy, recognize and managed unique adverse effects that may occur, and are unfamiliar with the latest data surrounding CAR T-cell therapies. Clinicians who treat patients with hematologic malignancies are positioned to affect change in the management of patients with B-cell lymphomas that may benefit from CAR T-cell therapy. However, in this rapidly changing therapeutic area, they need access to medical education to stay abreast of current data.

This on-demand webcast addresses knowledge and practice gaps among healthcare professionals pertaining to the evolving therapeutic landscape of CAR T-cell therapy in B-cell lymphomas.


Upon successful completion of this educational activity, participants should be better able to:

  1. Identify appropriate candidates for currently available CAR T-cell interventions according to hematologic malignancy and line of therapy
  2. Evaluate available CAR T-cell interventions in terms of safety (i.e., cytokine release syndrome [CRS], neurologic toxicity), efficacy, mechanisms of action, potential synergistic activity, and their role in the treatment of hematologic malignancies, particularly adult B-cell lineage lymphomas
  3. Integrate the latest clinical trial data surrounding CAR T-cell interventions into therapeutic clinical decisions
