Target Audience

This educational activity is designed for gastroenterologists and other healthcare professionals (physicians-in-training, nurses, pharmacists, physician assistants, etc) involved and/or interested in the therapeutic management of patients with IBD.

Designed to meet the educational needs of the entire community of healthcare professionals who treat and manage patients with IBD, the 2017 Advances in Inflammatory Bowel Diseases: Multidisciplinary Approaches to IBD Patient-Centered Care was the premier annual event for investigators and healthcare professionals to come together, share their knowledge and experience, and learn about the latest advances and new insights for the personalized care of patients with IBD. This webcast highlights the clinically significant information presented during the 2017 AIBD Nursing Track in Orlando, Florida on November 10, 2017.

Upon successful completion of this educational activity, participants should be better able to:

  1. Discuss the multidisciplinary management of IBD to enhance patient outcomes
  2. Analyze challenging patient cases to identify alternate clinical approaches and enhance patient outcomes for IBD
