INTENDED LEARNERS

This activity is designed for interventional radiologists, surgeons, oncologists, and other healthcare professionals involved in the treatment of cancer or looking to expand into this arena.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES

Upon completion of this activity, the participant will be able to:

  • Recognize barriers to the optimal diagnosis and management of HCC 
  • Evaluate new and emerging therapeutic agents and combinations in terms of efficacy, safety, and mechanisms of action  
  • Describe guideline recommendations for screening, diagnosis, and treatment of HCC, including surgical, locoregional, radiation, and systemic therapy approaches  
  • Develop optimal treatment strategies for HCC that include evidence-based therapeutic selection and multidisciplinary care
