Intended Learners

This activity is designed for health-system pharmacists including specialty pharmacists, clinical pharmacists, oncology pharmacists and other pharmacists involved in the management of patients with chemotherapy-induced severe neutropenia.

Learning Objectives

After completing this activity, participants should be able to:

  • Discuss the implications of biosimilars on disease management with respect to their cost utility, accessibility, and impact on patient care
  • Differentiate among reference drugs, biosimilars, and generics in terms of clinical considerations, regulatory requirements, and pharmacovigilance
  • Describe the challenges of antibody-based biosimilar development, manufacturing, and testing compared to other biosimilar products
  • Translate available clinical data surrounding antibody-based biosimilar efficacy and safety to their integration into autoimmune disease and oncology treatment plans
Activity Overview

This interactive dinner symposium will occur in Regency Ballroom U of the Hyatt Regency Orlando on Monday, December 4, from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm. A question-and-answer session with the faculty will follow the presentation.

To be eligible for documentation of credit, participants must attend the live activity and submit a completed evaluation form.  All individuals who participate in the full symposium and submit a hard-copy evaluation will receive documentation of credit via email within 8 weeks.

ACPE Credit Policy

The certificate is not the official record of your participation in the activity. The official record of credit will be the information in CPE Monitor system.

Eligibility for pharmacy credit is contingent upon the successful completion of a post-test and/or evaluation for each activity or session attended. The reporting function into CPE Monitor will only be available for 60 days after your completion of the activity.  Under ACPE Policy, NACCME will not be able to report your credit to CPE Monitor after this 60 day period.
