This activity is designed for physicians, podiatrists, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, nurses and other healthcare professionals involved in the management of patients with knee osteoarthritis and nonunion fractures.


After participating in this activity, participants should be better able to:

  • Discuss clinical outcomes with the use of various formulations of hyaluronic acid (HA) treatment for the management of knee osteoarthritis
  • Review the issues surrounding fracture healing and fracture non-union, including clinical outcomes of available treatments 
  • Outline the safety, efficacy, and cost-effectiveness of non-surgical treatment strategies for osteoarthritis of the knee and bone healing
  • Apply the latest clinical evidence toward daily practice as it relates to treating patients with fracture non-union and osteoarthritis of the knee
