Module 1: Reduced Bleeding Complications During PCI
Upon completion of this educational activity, participants should be able to:
- review currently utilized anticoagulants in the cardiac cath lab and their approved and off-label applications
- review data from comparative trials on the effectiveness and safety of these anticoagulants
Module 2: Economic Benefits of Thrombin Inhibition During PCI

- describe the importance of early sheath removal in reducing bleeding events
- utilize pre-procedure planning for puncture site on the subsequent sheath removal options
