Target Audience

This activity has been developed for physicians, nurses, and technologists.

Learning Objectives

After completing this activity, participants should be able to:

  • Review advances in cardiac resynchronization therapy pertinent to newer implantation strategies and expanding indications
  • Review advances in pharmacological and interventional strategies to treat atrial fibrillation
  • discuss the pathophysiology of atrial fibrillation and their implication for catheter ablation
  • describe new technology for ablation of atrial fibrillation.

Activity Overview

The interactive dinner symposium will occur in Rush Room of the Gibsons Steakhouse on Wednesday, November 19, 2008 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm. A question-and-answer session with the faculty will follow each presentation.

There is no fee associated with this activity.

CME Accreditation

This activity is sponsored by North American Center for Continuing Medical Education (NACCME). NACCME is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
