Questions & Answers
The Coalition of Rheumatology Educators (CORE) is a CME initiative developed for rheumatologists and rheumatic disease healthcare professionals. The curriculum includes strategies for: (1) safe and effective use of disease-modifying drug therapy, (2) practical application of clinical measurement tools to maintain tight disease control, and (3) switching between biologic agents in the endeavor to reach low disease activity or remission. The ultimate goal is to help CORE learners improve patient function and quality of life. Visit CORErheum.com today for current news and courses available in multiple educational formats.
This activity is designed for rheumatologists and related healthcare professionals who treat rheumatic disease patients.
After participating in this activity, participants should be able to:
- Apply updated ACR/EULAR classification criteria to identify patients with rheumatoid arthritis (RA) and remission criteria as a goal of therapy to assess adequacy of treatment
- Implement clinical measurement and patient self-report tools into daily clinical practice to assess the efficacy of RA treatment strategies
- Outline efficacy and safety of current and emerging RA therapies, incorporating comparative effectiveness data, and integrate these drugs into best treatment strategies for RA patients to optimize clinical outcomes
