Intended Learners

This activity is designed for primary care physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, nurses, and pharmacists.

Learning Objectives
After completing this activity, participants should be able to:
  • Apply guidelines and evidence to the diagnosis and management of men with androgen deficiency syndromes
  • Outline the safety, efficacy, and routes of administration of available testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) formulations
  • Promote patient confidence in and adherence to TRT through improved communication
  • Provide hands-on instruction of proper TRT application to patients with androgen deficiency syndromes
  • Outline the benefits and limitations of available and newer agents for the medical management of early stage prostate cancer (PCa) and treatment side effects
  • Take an active role in the multidisciplinary treatment plan to improve adherence and outcomes in PCa patients receiving ADT
Activity Overview

This interactive workshop will be presented on March 16 by Martin M. Miner, MD and Judd W. Moul, MD, and on March 23 by Leonard G. Gomella, MD, FACS and Matthew T. Rosenberg, MD. A question-and-answer session will immediately follow the presentations.

To be eligible for credit, participants must attend the full activity and complete the evaluation following the educational session. Participants who complete the evaluation online at www.naccme.com will immediately receive documentation of credit. Participants who submit a hard copy evaluation will receive documentation of credit within 8 weeks.
