This activity was developed for psychiatrists, primary care physicians, psychiatric nurses, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals who seek to improve their care for patients with mental health disorders and the outcomes resulting in that care.
Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:
- Consider the existing data surrounding the use of folate-based therapies for major depressive disorder (MDD) when determining treatment plans for patients
- Identify specific clinical scenarios and patient profiles in which utilizing folate-based therapies would be appropriate for the treatment of patients with MDD
- Devise and incorporate personalized approaches to the overall treatment plan for patients with MDD
