- Summarize current evidence-based guidelines and quality measures for venous thromboembolism (VTE) risk stratification, prophylaxis, and management
- Explain the increased risk of VTE and/or complications of VTE management associated with frequent comorbidities, such as cancer, renal insufficiency, and older age
- Implement effective VTE management protocols for special patient populations, including appropriate dosing and monitoring strategies
- Apply current VTE guidelines and measures to improve outcomes across the continuum of care
