This activity is designed for Physicians, nurses, physician assistants and nurse practitioners who treat rheumatoid arthritis.
Upon completion of this educational activity, participants should be able to:
- Discuss the potential benefits and drawbacks of diagnostic tests for rheumatoid arthritis (RA);
- Review key clinical findings in the physical exam associated with the diagnosis of RA;
- Explain the importance of early treatment intervention for RA;
- Review the mechanism of t-cell targeted therapies for RA;
- Discuss results from currently published studies on emerging modalities for RA;
- Explain the importance of assessing patients for comorbidities of RA; and
- Discuss the safety profiles of current and emerging modalities for RA
